The Sweat Experience is a home for the experiences and stories that you care about and want to make visible as an athlete. Giving you the power to talk directly to the people you want to reach. As an athlete you can create your very own activeID (user profile), by adding data and content including videos, photos and audio.
When you use these services- and others we roll out- you'll inevitably share information with us. We understand that this can affect your privacy. As we have created this platform for you, we want to be open about the information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it and the choices we give you to control, access and update your information in order to enable you to have a great experience on the platform.
Information We Collect
What You Directly Provide Us
In order for you to create your Sweat Experience account, we need to collect a few important details about you: first name, last name, a unique username you’d like to go by, date of birth, an email address we can contact you at, your interests and your location. For additional Services, we may ask you for additional information.
What You Automatically Provide Us When You Use Our Services

Usage Information. We collect information about your activity including the content and data that you add to your activeID
Location Information. With your consent, we collect your device location so that you can use our location-based features
Log Information. We collect log file information when you use our websites. That information includes, among other things:

Device information, such as your web browser type and language, access times, pages viewed, IP address,identifiers associated with cookies or other technologies that may uniquely identify your device or browser and pages you visited before or after navigating to our website.

When we connect with you, we aim to provide you with an amazing set of Services that we relentlessly improve. But we do a lot more as well, such as: Provide and deliver the products, services, and functionality that you request and send you related information; Communicate with you. Where Information Is Processed
Although The Sweat Experience is based in the United Kingdom, we welcome and serve athletes from all over the world. Keep in mind that no matter where you live or where you happen to use our Services. And while you’re in another country, please be aware that your information may be made available to government or law enforcemen requests.
How we use information
What do we do with the information we receive from you? We provide you with an amazing set of products and services that we strive to improve consistently, this includes:
- Develop, improve, operate, deliver, maintain and product our products and services
- Communicate with you
- Monitor and analyse trends and usage
- Tailor the services for you, among other things, suggesting friends or profile information or customising the content we show you, including ads.
- Enhance the safety and security of our products and services
- Verify your identity and prevent fraud or other unauthorised or illegal activity
- Use information we've collected from cookies and other technology to enhance the services and your experience with them
- Enforce our terms of service and other usage policies.

Control over your information
We want you to be in control of your information, so we provide you with the following tools.
Access and updates. We strive to let you access and update most of the personal information that we have about you. There are limits though to the requests we'll put in place. We may reject a request for w number of reasons, including, for example, that the request risks the privacy of other users, requires technical efforts that are disproportionate to the request, is repetitive or is unlawful.
Revoking permissions. If you change your mind about our ongoing ability to collect information from certain sources that you have already consented to.
Deactivation of your activeID
Although we hope The Sweat Experience continues to be the home for your journey as an athlete, if for some reason you want to come off The Sweat Experience, you can simply deactivate your activeID by going to Settings. However, if you want to return to The Sweat Experience, you can do so by reactivating your activeID when you log in on your return.
We don’t direct our Services to anyone under 13. And that’s why we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. However, we understand sports is a universal language and benefits everyone, especially those under the age of 13 and because of this we allow the platform to be open for people to consume and experience, because we see more exposure to the next generation of athletes for those under the age of 13 as a positive experience, this gives them the opportunity to consume and experience the platform this way.
